Meet the Chef
Bridget Aloha Larissa Hawley
Bridget was born on O'ahu in Honolulu, Hawaii May 1977. She discovered her love of cooking at the tender age of five from survival, blending the rich flavors of her island home with her imagination. When she was 13 she was brought to Indiana and was land locked. She had no resources to bring her the flavors of home. Even though she didn't have the flavors of home with her she still made her food from the heart with what she had. Her culinary journey took an unexpected turn when she welcomed her first and only child at 19, a moment that paused her aspirations but deepened her commitment to creating nourishing meals for her family. With resilience and a passion for culinary arts that has rekindled, Bridget has since embraced her journey as wife, mother, grandmother and chef, supported every step of the way by her loving husband whose encouragement and excitement to eat her cooking fuels her culinary creativity. Bridget uses her diverse experiences to inspire others and share the joy of cooking. Today she is a passionate advocate for the importance of family meals, blending tradition with creativity to bring loved ones together around the table.
